The management of Ajayi Crowther University has expelled several students involved in a fight that resulted in the death of a fellow student.

Contrary to circulating rumors, the University asserts that there is no cultism within its institution. The management emphasized,

“The University has zero tolerance for any form of anti-social vices and misconduct. It is important to stress that the expelled students are not associated with any cult group.”

Explaining the incident, “the deceased was alleged to have stolen a mobile phone. Instead of reporting the matter to the University management, the expelled students failed to control their emotions. Their actions led to the unfortunate death of the student.”

The University has promptly handed over all the involved students to the Nigeria Police Force for investigation, ensuring that justice will be served.

A statement made available to National Updates reporter from the management further reads, “The University remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring a safe, conducive, peaceful, and godly atmosphere for learning.”
