Dr. Adeniji Appointed as New Director of Administration Following Professor Adediwura’s Resignation
Dr. Adeniji’s appointment as the new Director of Administration comes in the wake of Professor Alaba Adediwura’s resignation from the position.
According to a letter obtained by Vanguard Correspondent in Ilorin, Dr. Adeniji holds a PhD in Public Administration and previously served as an Assistant Registrar at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.
In that role, he managed key administrative functions and ensured the efficient operation of the university’s administrative framework.
The letter highlighted Dr. Adeniji’s subsequent role as Chairman of Ife Central Local Government Council in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
Elected under the All Progressives Congress (APC), he was praised for his exceptional leadership, which led to significant improvements in public services and strengthened relationships with community stakeholders across various party affiliations.
Dr. Adeniji’s tenure as Chairman was noted for its transparent governance and practical solutions to local issues, earning him widespread respect and recognition.
The party emphasized that Dr. Adeniji’s profound knowledge of Public Administration, proven leadership skills, and dedication to public service make him an ideal fit for the role of Director of Administration in Africa’s largest political party.
As the new Director of Administration, Dr. Adeniji will oversee the day-to-day operations of the National Secretariat and supervise the implementation of policy objectives and strategies set by the National Working Committee (NWC) to advance the party’s political programs.
