The Alumni Society of Communication and Management (ASCOM) Class of 2008, The Polytechnic Ibadan, Adeseun Ogundoyin Campus, Eruwa, has held its reunion celebration, bringing together former classmates for a day of reflection, bonding, and renewed collaboration.

The event, which took place in Ibadan featured the election of a new executive committee to pilot the affairs of the association.
Alhaji Abdilfatai Abolore emerged as the Chairman of ASCOM Class ’08, with Bidemi Ogunmokun elected as Deputy Chairman, Favour Onafua as Secretary, Mrs. Dada Oluwafunmilayo as Treasurer, and Adedayo Adebanjo as Public Relations Officer (PRO).

In his acceptance speech, Alhaji Abolore expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in him and thanked members for their support.
Demonstrating his commitment to the association, he announced a donation of ₦50,000 to AZ Plus Foods, a gesture that was warmly received by attendees.
Mr Adedayo Adebanjo in his opening remarks described the reunion as a significant milestone in strengthening unity and fostering a renewed sense of purpose among the 2008 alumni set.
The newly elected executives pledged to work collectively to reposition the association for greater impact in the coming years.
