
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is set to arraign former Minister of Power, Saleh Mamman, before Justice J. K. Omotosho on Thursday, July 11.
Mamman faces charges totaling N33 billion, including conspiracy to commit money laundering and possession of proceeds from criminal activities.
The charges, signed by prosecution counsel Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika, SAN, allege offenses ranging from cash payments exceeding lawful limits to purchasing property with illicit funds.
The investigation covers Mamman’s tenure from 2019 to 2022 under former President Muhammadu Buhari.
