Renowned health journalist and broadcaster, Faysol Oluwakemi, has launched the Faysol Oluwakemi Grassroots Development (FOGDEV) Initiative to support local communities and promote inclusive development.
Speaking about the project in Ibadan, Faysol Oluwakemi emphasized the importance of community-driven progress.
He said, “true progress begins at the grassroots. When people have the right tools, knowledge, and opportunities, real change happens.”
Faysol Oluwakemi stressed that the initiative focuses on health, education, and community welfare, aiming to give a voice to marginalized groups and improve governance through civic engagement.”
FOGDEV will introduce various programs, including health outreach, youth training, skill-building workshops, SDGs awareness, educational support, and policy advocacy, he added.
Faysol continues to champion development-focused conversations both on air and off air, the FOGDEV Initiative is set to become a transformative force in advancing grassroots inclusion and sustainable development in Oyo State and beyond.
