Lagos State Government, through Health District III, has applauded Access Bank Group, owners of  Access Bank Plc, for donating some Medical Supplies and Equipment to Primary Healthcare Centres in the Eti-Osa area of the State as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, (CSR)

Receiving the donated items on behalf of the health centres recently at Araromi Primary Healthcare Centre in Eti-Osa, the Permanent Secretary of Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke commended Access Bank’s dedication to supporting healthcare through its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.

According to her, the gesture underscores a renewed commitment to accessible healthcare in the area and represents a significant step toward improving primary healthcare delivery.

Dr. Adeleke noted that the donated medical supplies would not only improve primary healthcare facilities across Eti-Osa but also ensure that healthcare workers have the necessary tools to deliver quality care.

“The support from Access Bank through these vital resources will enhance our ability to provide timely, efficient, and compassionate care for our residents. These tools, from diagnostic equipment to essential treatment supplies, will also allow us to meet the diverse healthcare needs of our communities, ensuring that we can uphold the highest standards of patient care”, the PS added.

While saying that the cordial relationship between Access Bank and the State Government is essential to strengthening the State’s healthcare system and bridging healthcare gaps, Dr. Adeleke reaffirmed the government’s commitment to sustaining this partnership.

She appreciated all those involved in making the donated items possible, noting that the shared commitment to a healthier community would yield lasting benefits.

Particularly, the Permanent Secretary appreciated the Executive Chairman of Eti-Osa East LCDA, Hon. John Campos Ogundare, for his steadfast commitment to supporting all health-related initiatives from the Health District.

In his remarks, the Executive Chairman of Eti-Osa East LCDA, Hon. John Campos Ogundare pledged continued support for all the PHCs within the council area.

He noted that the initiative and support from Access Bank Plc was part of the outcome of the Permanent Secretary’s dedication to mobilising private sector involvement in advancing healthcare across the entire health district.

Community leaders and residents of various communities within Eti-Osa, expressed optimism that the donated supplies would significantly impact service delivery, addressing critical needs and improving health outcomes across the region.
