Oyo state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has extended the tenure of Dr. Taiwo Abideen Lasisi as the Acting Rector of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, for another six months.
According to an official letter signed by the Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Salihu Adelabu, the extension is effective from March 25, 2025, to September 24, 2025.
The Commissioner congratulated Dr. Lasisi on the renewal of his tenure and wished him continued success in his leadership role.
Why the extension of acting position for another six months why not confirm his appointment if has done well or replace him if he fails in his six months.
