The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a 43-year-old man, Mr. Ajagba Joseph, for allegedly attempting to murder a man he found in his concubine’s house.
The police shared details of the incident on X.com on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the incident took place on August 23rd when Joseph visited his lover’s home and found another man there, who was also reportedly involved with the same woman.
Enraged by the situation, Joseph allegedly pulled out a single-barrel gun and shot the other man.
Fortunately, the victim survived the attack and is currently recovering from his injuries.
The police statement read, “Attempted Murder – This married man, Mr. Ajagba Joseph, aged 43, on the 23rd of Aug, went to his concubine’s house and met another lover there.
He became angry and shot the other man with his single-barrel gun. The victim is recuperating, and the suspect is in custody and will soon be charged to court.”
The police confirmed that Joseph is in custody and will face charges for his actions.
