In a gesture of compassion and community service, Ibadan-based Public Relations expert, Olamide Adeniji, will mark his birthday on June 24, 2025, with inmates of the Agodi Correctional Centre, Ibadan.

Adeniji, who hails from Ibadan South-West Local Government Area of Oyo State, is renowned for his annual tradition of celebrating with the less privileged, a gesture that reflects his belief in human dignity and second chances.

This year, the celebration will include feeding about 200 inmates, and the donation of clothes, soft drinks, and essential toiletries, all valued in the hundreds of thousands of naira. “These donations are part of a sustained effort to improve living conditions within the facility,” he noted.

Beyond the gifts, the initiative has become a beacon of hope and inspiration, drawing public admiration for its impact in promoting compassion, reform, and rehabilitation.

Olamide Adeniji is a seasoned Information and Public Relations officer in the Oyo State Civil Service. He is also a public speaker, news editor, social media influencer, and master of ceremonies.

He currently serves as the Media Officer to the Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB), Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, and other top government officials.
