President Bola Tinubu, speaking in Beijing on Friday, said he is prepared to make difficult decisions to move Nigeria forward.

He noted that it’s not always easy for a leader to achieve national agreement on issues.

During a meeting with Nigerians living in China, Tinubu called his visit to China “very good and successful.”

He emphasized strengthening partnerships in areas like trade, finance, energy, and infrastructure during talks with Chinese leaders.

He urged Nigerians in China to be good ambassadors and highlighted the need for discipline and commitment to improve Nigeria’s global standing.

Tinubu also promised reforms in Nigeria, noting that bold decisions, like addressing fuel prices, are necessary for development.

The president praised China’s infrastructure and expressed his desire to replicate it in Nigeria, aiming for better schools, roads, and services.

Tinubu reassured Nigerians abroad that their contributions will help shape the country’s future.

NIDO China, a Nigerian diaspora group, expressed support for Tinubu’s efforts to strengthen Nigeria-China relations and requested his help in gaining recognition for Nigeria as a native English-speaking country in China, which would open up job and education opportunities for Nigerians.
