Shehu Sani, former Senator of Kaduna Central, has expressed the view that the ongoing political feud between Governor Sim Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike in Rivers State, can only be resolved by divine intervention.
In a recent statement on Tuesday, Sani remarked, “Rivers State crisis has been left in the hands of God to resolve.”
The state has been embroiled in significant political turmoil ever since Governor Fubara assumed office, with both him and Wike vying for political dominance.
The conflict has resulted in the emergence of two parallel speakers, Martin Amaewhule and Victor Oko-Jumbo.
Despite earlier attempts at intervention, such as by President Bola Tinubu, tensions between supporters of the opposing factions persist unabated, manifesting in continued political skirmishes.
