The Senate has passed the National Anthem Bill 2024, aiming to reinstate the old anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.”
The bill swiftly cleared its first and second readings and now awaits President Bola Tinubu’s signature to become law.
This legislative action follows the House of Representatives’ approval of the bill last Thursday.
