The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, B Zone has called on all relevant stakeholders in the Nigeria to prioritize girls education, health and well-being for them to attain their full potential as they are the future mothers.
The Zone, in a statement jointly signed by the Vice Chairperson, Adeola Adekunle and the Secretary, Adeola Adewole to commemorate 2024 international day of girl child says the Theme for this year ,’Girls Vision for the Future ‘ conveys the need for urgent action and persistent hope.driven by the power of girls voices and vision for the future.
NAWOJ B ZONE further reiterates that, no amount spent on girl child is a waste as they are future nation builders and molders.
The Zone however, appeals to government at all levels to prioritize and promote education and health of the girl child .
“when you educate a girl child, you have secured the future,girls deserve adequate care and protection, from any form of molestation, abuse and neglect. “
When you trained a Girl child, you have. Trained “A NATION”. The first education of a child starts with the mother.
