The meeting centred on assessing the progress of ongoing transmission improvement projects in Lagos and refining the partnership with the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) in alignment with the Clean Lagos Electricity Market initiative.
The discussions were productive, leading to plans for reviving several abandoned projects, including the provision of electricity to Ilashe Island.
Additionally, TCN pledged to enhance collaboration efforts by increasing stakeholder engagement and reviewing the New Lagos Electricity Bill to identify opportunities for synergy with the New Lagos Electricity Market.
