Oluremi Tinubu Supports Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, through the Renewed Hope Initiative, today empowered 1,000 women and persons living with disabilities in Lagos State by providing them with the tools they need to build sustainable businesses and better lives.
In his reaction, the State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu commended the First Lady for the initiative, saying her commitment to uplifting women stems from her belief that women are central to the progress of any society.
“Here in Lagos, we share this conviction, which is why we supported the programme by contributing an additional 500 empowerment items to ensure that more women could benefit.
“To the beneficiaries, I urge you to use these gifts wisely, grow your businesses, and in doing so, grow the wealth of your families and of Lagos,” Sanwo-Olu said.
