The Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) announced that the 25% rebate on fares for regulated public bus, ferry, and train services will end on Sunday. LAMATA communicated this update on its official X handle.
“From June 3, fares on all regulated transport services in the state will return to the original 100%,” the statement said.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had initially introduced the 25% rebate on February 23 to mitigate the impact of the removal of the petrol subsidy on Lagos residents. NAN
