Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo-Okunsanya, Chairperson for the 2024 Nigerian Bar Association Annual General Conference (NBA-AGC), has announced that 3,074 lawyers have registered for this year’s event.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Friday, Badejo-Okunsanya highlighted the increase from last year’s 2,000 registered lawyers, deeming the current figure commendable.

The 64th NBA-AGC is scheduled to take place from August 23 to August 28 in Lagos, under the theme “Pressing Forward, A National Posture for Rebuilding Nigeria.”

Badejo-Okunsanya expressed optimism about even higher registration numbers by the end of July, based on current trends.

“As of Thursday, we already had 3,074 registered delegates, which is very encouraging compared to last year’s 2,000 at the same time,” she said.

She anticipates increased activity and preparations by June 30, promising an exciting and impactful conference.

She also noted the significance of the venue, Tafawa Balewa Square, given the large number of participating lawyers, adding to the excitement of hosting the event in Lagos.
