The FCT Police Command has arrested four suspects in connection with the murder of retired Army Brigadier General Uwem Udukwere at Sunshine Estate in Abuja.
According to FCT Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igweh, two additional robbers involved in the crime remain at large, having fled with the retired general’s pistol.
They have been declared wanted, and the police are determined to apprehend them.
The arrests were made by Utako Division operatives, led by CCP Victor Godfrey, at Kabusa and Pigbakasa Apo in Abuja. The suspects were identified as follows: Ibrahim Rabiu, 33, from Dala Local Government Area of Kano State, residing at Rasha Apo Roundabout.
Others are,Nafiu Jamil, 33, from Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State, residing at Apo Pantekar, Aliyu Abdullahi, 47, from Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State, residing at Apo Roundabout and Mohammed Nuhu, 28, from Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State, residing at Apo Primary School.
