The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has officially declared a couple, Kazeem Omogoriola Owoalade (also known as Abdul Qassim Adisa Balogun) and Rashidat Ayinke Owoalade (also known as Bolarinwa Rashidat Ayinke) wanted in connection with substantial cocaine seizures.

The couple who allegedly run a cocaine cartel from India, has been declared wanted by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). This announcement comes after the discovery of significant quantities of cocaine traced back to the couple, triggering an intensive search effort by the agency.

The declaration followed the arrest of four syndicate members in Lagos. During the operation, authorities recovered a Sports Utility Vehicle and sealed two houses connected to the suspects, pending forfeiture to the Federal Government.

Two syndicate members, Imran Taofeek Olalekan and Ishola Isiaka Olalekan, were apprehended on April 3, 2024, while attempting to export 3.40 kg of cocaine on a Qatar Airways flight bound for Oman through Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA Ikeja Lagos.

His arrest led to a follow-up operation at the residence of the Owoalade couple at 20 Eyiaro Street, Ogudu Orioke, Lagos. During this operation, another suspect was apprehended, and a new model Toyota RAV4 SUV with the license plate FKJ-773 JJ, belonging to Rashidat, was seized. Additionally, 400 grams of cocaine were recovered, along with pre-prepared suitcases for drug concealment, digital weighing scales, and other paraphernalia.
