Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on Friday, swore in four new permanent secretaries, pledging that his administration will continue to foster an environment conducive to the state’s optimal development.
The newly appointed permanent secretaries are Mr. Bernard Olanrewaju Ogunyinka, Mr. Augustine Adekunle Oyesanwen, Engr. Olanike Olawunmi Ogunbona, and Mrs. Arinola Nusirat Adetayo.
During the swearing-in ceremony held at the Exco Chamber of the Governor’s Office, Governor Abiodun reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of public servants and the advancement of all sectors within the state economy.
He urged the new permanent secretaries to collaborate effectively with their commissioners and other political appointees in their respective ministries, departments, and agencies.
Prince Abiodun emphasized that the appointments were well-deserved, recognizing the appointees’ dedication, commitment, and exemplary service to the state.
He highlighted the crucial role of the new permanent secretaries as accounting officers responsible for overseeing various MDAs (Ministries, Departments, and Agencies).
The governor noted that Ogun State’s public service is distinguished by its core values of integrity, discipline, loyalty, and passion for excellence, making it stand out among public services across the country.
After taking the oath of office, Mr. Ogunyinka expressed gratitude to the Governor for the appointment, pledging to contribute his efforts towards the state’s progress through the administration’s ‘ISEYA’ mantra.
