...as gov donates bus to Bodija Int’l Market’s leaders
The Oyo State governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has said that the state government will soon begin the rehabilitation of inner roads in Bodija Market.
The governor, who was represented by Chief Babatunde Tijani, stated this while donating an 18-seater bus to the Ibadan Foodstuffs Sellers Association, Bodija International Market, Ibadan.
He noted that the bus is to ease the movement of the executive members of the union within and outside the state, adding that the donation was part of the governor’s promises to support market groups in the state.
Tijani equally noted that the gesture also confirmed the robust relationship between his government and market leaders, urging them to continue to support the administration.
This was as he called for more unity and cooperation among the market groups and associations in the state.
In his response, the Babaloja, Bodija International Market, Chief Ismael Aderemi Jimoh, thanked the governor for the donation, promising the association’s unflinching support to his administration.
