Gospel artiste Prince Goke Bajowa has accused fellow singer Adeyinka Adeboye, popularly known as Boye Best, of plagiarism in connection with the promotion of an upcoming album.
In a strongly worded post on social media, Bajowa alleged that Boye Best used a song that does not belong to him as part of his album promotion campaign.
He described the move as a breach of intellectual property rights and questioned the level of professionalism within the gospel music industry.
Expressing his displeasure, Bajowa criticized what he called a pattern of disrespect and unprofessional conduct among some artistes.
He warned that copyright infringement remains a serious offence, stressing that such violations can be challenged legally at any time.
The allegation has stirred reactions online, with fans and industry observers debating the issue and raising broader concerns about copyright practices in Nigeria’s creative space.
As of the time of this report, Boye Best has yet to respond to the claims.
