Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle, reassigning Alhaja Faosat Joke Sanni to head the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion.
The redeployment follows the exit of Honourable (Mrs) Toyin Balogun, who has been relieved of her appointment as commissioner.
Governor Makinde expressed appreciation to Mrs Balogun for her service and contributions to the development of Oyo State, wishing her success in her future endeavours.
Mrs Sanni, a former Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion between 2019 and 2023, returns to the ministry after serving in the Ministry of Special Duties and, most recently, the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperative.
The changes take immediate effect.
