The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, , has described the latest court judgment as a chance for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to reconcile its internal differences.

Reacting after his faction secured victory in nine appeals filed against it by the Makinde-backed Turaki faction, Wike said the outcome should encourage unity within the party.

However, he warned that pursuing the matter further at the Supreme Court could worsen the situation.

According to him, his faction is fully prepared to defend the rulings if the opposing group decides to continue the legal battle.

Wike noted that the court dismissed all nine appeals brought against his camp and awarded costs of N2 million on each case, bringing the total amount to N18 million against the opposing faction.

He added that while the judgment offers a pathway for reconciliation within the Peoples Democratic Party, his group remains ready to face any further legal challenge if necessary.
